September 2, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />Friedl said staff will continue to talk to, and work with, the City of Thousand Oaks (CTO) and <br />Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD), relative to the path. <br />Roger Rutz, of Newbury Park Soccer Club, a non-profit volunteer organization, reported that <br />its recent annual soccer tournament fund raiser at Peppertree Playfield was very successful. <br />He thanked the District for its support. <br />John Anderson, Newbury Park, spoke of the over utilization of Peppertree Playfield, which <br />he said negatively impacts the surrounding neighborhood and results in safety concerns. He <br />urged that rules be identified and penalties imposed on organizations that violate the rules. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0, to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of August 12, 2010 Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $651,183.49 <br />Payroll Total $485,894.76 <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0, to approve the <br />Consent Calendar. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Approval of Bike Path Easement Agreement with City of Thousand Oaks at <br />Conejo Creek Park South and Conejo Creek Park Southwest <br />Hare highlighted the agreement and issues, relative to the construction of the bike <br />path in Conejo Creek South, a City of Thousand Oaks' project. He said that upon <br />completion of the bike path improvements at Conejo Creek Park South and Conejo <br />Creek Park Southwest, the City of Thousand Oaks requests a non-exclusive bike path <br />
