He noted that the website is not <br />yet active, the focus is on simplicity of operation and access of information, and a <br />more visual and colorful presentation. <br />10. Westlake Village Park and YMCA Project -- Oral Update <br />Friedl distributed a Steering Committee Report handout and presented an update on <br />the Westlake Village Park and YMCA Project. He said he is a committee participant, a <br />campaign to raise $10 million is underway for the park project, and CRPD has <br />property adjacent to the site. <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare stated that the entryway improvements at Borchard and Thousand Oaks Centers <br />are set to begin next week. Bids were received today for the Oakbrook Neighborhood <br />Park expansion, and staff will return shortly for Board approval. The Northwood Park, <br />Phase II, improvements are progressing nicely and should be completed within a <br />month. It is expected that use of the new ranger office will begin shortly, and graffiti <br />has not proven to be a major problem. Recently. <br />
