LANG RANCH COMMi Nwe PARK <br />DESIGN DEVELOPMENT AND <br />1 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS ����� �� ���i�Ii:eS► <br />P S O M Q S will prepare a brief memorandum describing the results of the survey. The <br />memorandum will be provided to Lang Ranch Community Park for review <br />and comment. Psomas will then revise the memorandum and provide to <br />(continued) the appropriate agencies, including the USFWS. Should construction <br />occur outside of the recognized breeding season then this task will not be <br />performed or billed. <br />Orr-srm CoNsmucnox MoNrmmmi -Psomas will provide an on-site <br />construction biological monitor. The monitor will be present during <br />grading and ground clearing activities conducted within 100 feet of the <br />Lang Creek corridor. The monitor will be responsible for monitoring <br />compliance with all construction requirements. If encroachment beyond <br />the established limits of work occurs (including erosion), work in the <br />area shall be halted until the area is stabilized. In addition, contractor <br />training shall be conducted prior to the start of construction activities to <br />educated crews of sensitive biological resources. The monitor will arrive <br />prior to construction activities each morning and leave when activities <br />are concluded The monitor will coordinate with the on-site construction <br />foreman daily. The monitor will maintain a notebook and a copy of the <br />MMRP for the project. The monitor will make daily notes and the District <br />will be up -dated weekly on the monitoring, sooner if a problem arises. The <br />monitor will pay special attention to activities taking place near sensitive <br />resources, such as s[reambeds and oak tree drip -lines. The monitor will <br />check the integrity of the delineation of the work area to be sure that the <br />flagging and staking is properly placed. In addition to other daily duties, the <br />monitor will inspect for trash, dust, and other construction related issues. <br />Assumptions and Exclusions <br />CRPD will coordinate with Wildscape to identify potential off-site <br />mitigation locations. <br />Regulatory agencies will approve offsite mitigation locations <br />Focused biological surveys are not included, except for the single <br />breeding bird survey. <br />Psomas assumes that Advanced RV will provide primary coordination <br />with agencies, landscape architect, nursery and the City. <br />Psomas and Wildscape will provide one (1) internal review of the <br />HNPa and assume that the regulatory agencies will provide one (1) <br />draft review. Psomas and Wildscape will coordinate any conflicting <br />comments with the regulatory agencies. It is assumed that Wildscape <br />will have up to three (3) meetings with CRPD <br />CRPD will have a specificed budget or will coordinate with Wildscape <br />to determine the appropriate budget for the mitigation implementation. <br />P S O M A S Scope of Services —! 8 <br />
