Appropriate $2,350,000 ; $350,000 from general fund balance and $2,000,000 from <br />fund .62 fund balance - to CIP project account 62-802-811-80502-001. <br />2. -Authorize General Manager to execute a contract with PSOMAS in the amount of <br />$2,258,000 plus an approximate 10% contingency amount of $226,800, totaling <br />$2,484,800, for the design of Lang Ranch Community Park. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Background <br />The Conejo Recreation and. Park District's Master Plan calls for six community parks to <br />be located throughout the Conejo Valley (see attached). <br />Newbury Park has: <br />1. Dos Vientos Community Park and Community Center developed in 2002 <br />2. Borchard Community Park and Community Center developed in 1972 <br />Central Thousand Oaks has: <br />3. Thousand Oaks Community Park and Community Center developed in 1974 <br />4.
