Murdock; • Continuation of drill team for riders with disabilities ; • Two week-long summer day camps for disabled riders as well as able bodied riders ; Disability Awareness Day at Redwood Middle School; VIP in-house horse show in April; • CALNET State Championship horse show at LA Equestrian Center in May (Ride On manages the entire competition and took 14 riders from TO alone); • Hippotherapy program expanded from 3 to 13 patients using a combination of Ride On equestrian staff with Physical Therapists from the Simi Valley Hospital Child Development Center; - Participation in the Conejo Valley Days Parade. Walnut Grove Equestrian Center —Site Improvements, M&O Improvements to the Walnut Grove Equestrian center continue as funding is generated. In the year ending July 2005 activities include: • Phase II of improvements to the storage barn continued adding 432 square feet of therapy/meeting and office space. This was funded by a combination of Ride On/CRPD and City of TO allocations. • Landscaping improvements consisted primarily of volunteer projects to maintain and improve the appearance of WGE with incidental expenses funded by Ride On • Operating costs of approximately $4,915 annually were incurred by Ride On to pump the bathroom tank. • Electricity and rubbish is paid by Ride On through the CRPD amounting to $5,291. • Ride On is responsible for propane. Last year, the CRPD coordinated the construction of an ADA -accessible wheelchair ramp from the barn level to the arena level. This project was a wonderful and much needed improvement. Thank you! Future Ero'ects The sewer project remains a cost-effective and needed project. The current $5,00U annual pumping cost would pay for the entire sewer hook-up in six years and remove a serious constraint on growth. We have requested CRPD staff consider building a trail which would serve as a bench for the sewer trench and which would both lower the cost of sewer construction and serve our
