February 19, 2004 <br />Page 3 <br />B. Adoption of Resolution Number 021904-A Supporting Candidacy Of <br />Director Gibson For Position On Board Of Directors Of California <br />Association Of Recreation and Park Districts <br />Ward referenced the CARPD (California Association of Recreation and <br />Park Districts) documentation, and explained that association member <br />districts may submit nominations for individuals to serve on the CARPD <br />Board, the election will take place at the annual meeting in May, Gibson <br />expressed interest in serving as a Director at Large, and the nomination <br />procedure calls for a CRPD Board resolution. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />Resolution Number 21904-A, A Resolution Supporting the Candidacy <br />of Director Joe Gibson for the Position of Director at Large on the <br />Board of Directors of the California Association of Recreation and <br />Park Districts. <br />Lange thanked Gibson for his willingness to represent the District, and <br />wished him good luck. <br />9.
