Approval Of Minutes Of February 5, 2004 Meeting <br />B. Approval Of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $91,059.35 <br />Payroll Total $229,030.19 <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0, to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Approval Of Fiscal Year 2004-05 Budget Calendar <br />Lewanda reported that the proposed FY04-05 budget calendar provides for <br />adoption of the budget on July 8, which is earlier than the August adoption <br />dates of prior years, and the Board can adjust the adopted budget if <br />necessary. <br />Gibson suggested that staff be vigorous in its outreach efforts during the <br />upcoming public hearings process. Staff noted that the preliminary budget <br />and public hearings notice will be published in the local paper and the <br />District website, and public hearings will last from May 13 to July 8. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to adopt <br />the fiscal year 2004-05 budget calendar. <br />
