by written notice from the CVD to the DISTRICT to be delivered at least ninety (90) days prior to the date on which the CVD shall commence its right and privilege. The usage period is intended to include the five-day (5) Conejo Valley Days celebration for the purpose of preparing the site for the Conejo Valley Days celebration and for the Chili Cookoff event, and the days following the event for the purpose of cleanup and fence removal. The CVD shall maintain Public Liability insurance covering all portions of District propertv used by CVD under this Agreement specifically including Conejo Creek Park and Oakbrook Service Yard for the entire usage period for any occurrences related to their use of the premises. 2. The CVD shall have the right to use the premises during the designated usage period for the purpose of preparation for and conducting the annual -Conejo Valley Days celebration, which includes, but is not limited to, a rodeo, carnival, exhibition tents, booths and parking vehicles for those attending, and further including the Chili Cookoff event. The CVD shall not expand the contemplated activities or events conducted on the premises without making such a request in writing and receiving the prior written approval of the DISTRICT. The rules and regulations by which the activities of Conejo Valley Days are to be conducted shall be within the .exclusive discretion of the CVD, subject to the provisions of paragraph 5 of this Agreement and Permit Conditions. The CVD shall comply with the following conditions during their use of the premises: A. Security and Safety (1) Adequate security persons shall be on hand to ensure a safe and secure atmosphere. (2) It is understood between the parties that speed limits may be reduced on streets in the area and that on -street parking may be prohibited on the streets in the area during the annual Conejo Valley Days celebration. (3) Crosswalks or other pedestrian safety measures will be provided as required by the City of Thousand Oaks or other government agencies. (4) Adequate lighting will be provided for nighttime activities. (5) If existing light standards are used, the CVD shall be responsible for re -aiming them for AYSO use. -2-
