ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Agreement with Conejo Valley United Soccer Club for Futsal Improvements at <br />Los Cerritos Middle School; Award Bid for Futsal Improvements Project at Los <br />Cerritos Middle School <br />Hare referenced the Facilities Use Agreement with the Conejo Unified School District <br />that was approved at the last CRPD Board meeting. As a result of this agreement, a <br />new, slightly modified, agreement is now necessary between CRPD and the Conejo <br />Valley United Soccer Club. The agreement is very similar to the previous one; <br />however, as CRPD is now the lead on bidding and administering the project, CVUSC <br />will now provide CRPD with 60% of the funds (as opposed to CRPD providing CVUSC <br />with 40% of the funds.) Three bids were received for the futsal construction project. <br />The low bidder was Unlimited Engineering; they are currently doing the work at the <br />Rancho Conejo Playfields pickieball courts. Regarding staff report's Recommendation <br />#2, the account number is incorrect and will be modified by Lewanda; it does not <br />change the intent of the staff report and the funds will come from Fund Balance. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Huffer and carried 5-0 (as modified with a <br />different account number for Item #2) to: <br />1. Authorize General Manger to enter into Agreement with Conejo Valley <br />United Soccer Club (CVUSC). <br />2. Appropriate $133,000 from 62 Fund Balance to project account # (tbd). <br />3. Award bid to Unlimited Engineering Contracting, Inc. for $157,426 plus <br />contingency in the amount of $12,175, totaling $169,600 for Futsal <br />Improvements Project at Los Cerritos Middle School. <br />10.
