DEFERRED MATTERS <br />Public Hearing Preliminary Budget Fiscal Year 2017-201812018-2019 <br />Lange opened the Public Hearing. In Lewanda's absence, Friedl referenced the timeline for <br />the budget preparation and adoption. He indicated that three emails had been received and <br />shared with the Board regarding the budget as it relates to Ranger staffing and Wildwood <br />Park. Lange closed the Public Hearing; it is continued to the next regular Board meeting. <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Facilities Use Agreement with Conejo Valley Unified School District for Three <br />Futsal Courts at Los Cerritos Middle School <br />Hare referenced the history of the subject agreement. It was presented, and approved <br />unanimously, at the CVUSD Board meeting this past Tuesday evening. The major <br />changes to the originally -proposed agreement include: an initial term of 10 (instead of <br />20) years, where CRPD has priority use outside of school hours; CRPD will <br />compensate CVUSD with a flat fee of $2,000 for CVUSD's staff time; an increase in <br />liability insurance limits. If approved, the project would go out to bid immediately. On <br />May 4k", staff would come back to the Board for awarding of the construction contract <br />and a modification to the original agreement between CRPD and L.A. Galaxy of the <br />Conejo Valley Soccer Club (aka Conejo Valley United Soccer Club.) <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Holt and carried 4-0 to consider and <br />approve Facilities Use Agreement with Conejo Valley Unified School District for <br />
