April 20, 2017 <br />Page 3 <br />Three Futsal Courts at Los Cerritos Middle School. <br />B. Consideration of Resolution No. 042017-A Directing Preparation of the <br />Engineer's Report, Declaring Intention to Levy Assessments for 2017-18, <br />Preliminarily Approving Engineer's Report for Districtwide Park Maintenance and <br />Recreation Improvement District (62-1) and Providing for a Notice of Public <br />Hearing <br />Hare reported the assessment rate is proposed to adjust from $35.37 to $36.07 per <br />benefit unit for FY 2017-18. He will report back to the Board on June 1st to <br />consider the ordering of the improvements and the levy of the proposed <br />assessments. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Jones and carried 4-0 to Adopt Resolution <br />No. 042017-A Directing Preparation of the Engineer's Report, Declaring Intention <br />to Levy Assessments for 2017-18, Preliminarily Approving Engineer's Report for <br />Diistrictwide Park Maintenance and Recreation Improvement (62-1) and Providing <br />for a Notice of Public Hearing, that it be read in title only and all further readings <br />be waived. <br />C. Consideration of Resolutions for Landscaping Maintenance Districts (LMDs) 92-1 <br />and 94-1 <br />Hare reported the assessment rate for LIVID 92-1 is proposed to adjust from $86.53 <br />to $94.19 and for LMD 94-1 from $302.08 to $312.04 per benefit unit for FY 2017- <br />18. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer and carried 4-0 to: <br />1. Adopt Resolution 042017 -for LIVID 92-1 (Ranch Conejo); and <br />2. Adopt Resolution 042017-C for LIVID 94-1 (Dos Vientos); <br />that they be read in title only and all further readings be waived. <br />D. Appointments to the Goebel Senior Center Commission <br />Callis reported there were eight applicants for the seven open seats on the Goebel <br />Senior Center Commission. Interviews were held on March 22`d; Director Jones was <br />thanked for his attendance at these interviews. Six of the applicants are being <br />recommended for approval this evening. <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Holt and carried 4-0 to approve the <br />appointment of Marger Powel and Nancy Healy, and the reappointment of Del <br />Basilio, Mary Martinich, John Posta and Steven Smith to the Goebel Senior <br />Center Commission. <br />
