According to the City of Westlake Village staff, there are still two outstanding costs that have yet to be paid by the event promoters, a payment ($3,400) for the remaining staff time absorbed by the City in processing the TUP and monitoring the event, and a payment ($25,000) to the Westlake Village Community Foundation. These amounts were invoiced and sent to the event promoters by certified mail with a payment due date of September 21, 2016. Aditva Proposal for 2018 In the beginning of February 2017, due to the nearness of the original desired date in June 2017 to host the 1 K Oaks Music Festival, Aditya communicated with staff their desire to hold a similar event in June 2018. Typically large scale events such as these are considered by the Board approximately 6 months before the event date, however, due to Aditya's desire to move forward and book an "AA list performer, staff recommends the Board consider Aditya's proposal. Agreement Should the Board accept Aditya's proposal, staff has prepared the 2018 1K Oaks Music Festival Agreement (Exhibit 10) for the General Manager's execution. Highlights of the agreement include: 20181 K OAKS event to be conducted Saturday, June 9th (12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. - music off at 9:00 p.m.) and Sunday June 10th (12:00 noon to 9:30 p.m. - music off at 8:00 p.m.); additionally, a set-up day on Friday, June 8th and clean-up day of Monday, June 11th, are included. * Maximum ticket sales are limited to 20,000.
