2018 Festival Operation Plan Overview
We have developed a comprehensive operational plan for the 1K Oaks Music Festival to manage all of
the logistical workings of the festival. The plan has been broken down into 5 major categories as
follows:
1) Security/Access Control/Medical
2) Transportation/Parking
3) Ticketing & Admissions
4) Sound Level Monitoring/Sound Level Mitigation
5) Community & City Relations
Security/Access Control/Medical
We will utilize a muti-tiered program to maximize safety of attendees, talent, vendors and staff. We will
utilize the Sheriff Department, Private Security and a team of Safety and Information Personal to assure
the safety of all festival attendees. The goal is zero incidence however with this layered security and
safety program a rapid response time is created and instantaneously implemented should the need every
arise. We will have several private ambulances on-site for the duration of the festival as well as a
medical tent to offer first aid services, if needed.
Transportation/Parking
We have developed an off site -parking program. We will utilize satellite -parking locations around the
Thousand Oaks area to mitigate neighborhood parking. All attendees that use the parking lots will be
shuttled to the venue by Road Runner Shuttle Service. A pedestrian foot traffic program will be
implemented to control egress and ingress through the use of a variety of different means including but
not limited to directional signage, restricted areas, traffic flow personnel.
Ticketing/Admissions
Tickets will be sold online, for ease of purchase. Tickets will be available for purchase at ticket booths
located at a designated location at the venue. We will have several dedicated entry lines, designated for
Handicap, VIP, General Admission and Return Entry. All lanes will have metal detector pass through
stations and metal detector wands, bag search tables and manned by experienced security guard
screeners,
603
