Approval of Warrants, Exhibit A <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $377,916.22 <br />Payroll $332,900.00 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jones, and carried 5-0 to approve the <br />Consent Calendar. <br />7, DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Public Hearing Preliminary Budget Fiscal Year 2013 — 201412014 — 2015 <br />Chair Holt opened the Public Hearing, as well as Agenda Item 7B. <br />B. Proposed Ten -Year Capital Improvement Plan, Proposed Capital Improvement <br />Budget for Fiscal Years 2013-14 and 2014-15 <br />Hare presented the proposed 10 -year Capital Improvement Plan and explained how <br />the data was compiled initially and then modified and prioritized, during the budget <br />process, by staff. He highlighted certain aspects of the plan and referenced the <br />challenges the District faces with dwindling funds coming in from Park Dedication <br />Fees, which will result in the District relying more heavily on other sources of income, <br />such as partnerships, grants, donations, etc. This plan will be brought back to the <br />Board on June 13th as part of the overall Budget Adoption. <br />Hare answered Board member's questions. Holt and .tones both made mention of <br />the plan in Year 6 to enlarge the parking lot and add restrooms at the Wildflower <br />Playfield Tennis Courts and their acknowledgment of public requests for same. <br />Additionally, Gibson mentioned Dog Paris improvements as a concern. <br />During the Public Hearing, Clint Matkovich, Thousand Oaks, expressed his concern <br />for the condition of the parking lot at Stagecoach Inn. He also asked that there be <br />consideration of the use of volunteers to assist with certain projects, such as trail <br />construction and the painting of Stagecoach Inn. <br />Public Hearing will be continued to the next Board meeting on May 30, 2013. <br />S.
