Appropriate $62,210.00 from Districtwide Assessment Fund Balance to <br />Los Robles Trail Fencing project. <br />2. Authorize General Manager to enter into a contract with Fence Factory, <br />in the amount of $62,210.00, for Los Robles Trail fencing and gate <br />removal and replacement. <br />E. Trail Dozer Purchase <br />Hare reported Sutter Equipment is the sole manufacturer of the Trail Dozer being <br />recommended for purchase. Compared to the present equipment being used, the <br />new dozer is more powerful, more ergonomical and is compliant with California Air <br />Resources Board regulations. It will be more effective than an excavator and easier <br />to navigate. <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to award <br />purchase of Sutter 500 Trail Dozer in the amount of $64,617.00 <br />F. Letter Supporting Sustainability Active Transportation Planning Grant <br />The County of Ventura is seeking a planning grant to study the feasibility of creating <br />a trail from Borchard Park all the way to the Borchard interchange along the arroyo. <br />Staff recommends support of this application and authorization for the Chair to send <br />a letter expressing same. <br />It. was moved by Jones, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to authorize <br />execution of letter supporting County of Ventura's application to the Southern <br />California Association of Governments (SCAG) for a Sustainability Active <br />Transportation Planning Grant. <br />10.
