General Manager's Report Friedl reported he, Cecilia Laufenberg and Ron Block attended the County Board of Supervisor's meeting last Tuesday morning, where they expressed support during Public Comments for the "Dreamcatcher Playground", which was on the agenda with a request for a $25,000 award; County Supervisors voted yes to this request. Friedl attended Legislation Days in Sacramento prior to the CARPD Conference last week. He was part of a contingent that met with Senator Pavley, Assemblymember Wilk and a representative from Assemblymember Jeff Gorell's office — he referenced the information passed out to the elected officials can be found in the Board member's folders at the dais this evening and represent the issues being brought forward to legislators at this time. The next Board meeting on May 301h will be held in the Large Conference Room due to a scheduling conflict in the Board Room. Friedl will be attending his daughter's high school graduation and as a result, will be absent from the June 13th Board meeting.
