RESOLUTION 071714-A <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE <br />CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />UPDATING DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS AND THE <br />DISCLOSURE CATEGORY LIST FOR <br />FAIR POLITICAL PRACTICES ACT REQUIREMENTS <br />(CONFLICT OF INTEREST) AND <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION 092012-A <br />WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act, Government Code section 87300, et. seq. requires every state and local <br />governmental agency to adopt and declare a Conflict of Interest Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) has adopted a regulation which contains terms of <br />a standard model Conflict of Interest Code (Title 2 California Code of Regulations sec 18730), which is <br />incorporated by reference, and will be amended to conform to amendments in the Political Reform Act after <br />public notice and hearing conducted by the FPPC; and <br />WHEREAS, a designated employee is anyone within the Conejo Recreation and Park District who is an officer, <br />employee, member or consultant who is designated in the Code because the position entails the making or <br />participation in the making of decisions which may foreseeably have a material effect on any financial interest <br />(Government code sec. 82019); and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has previously designated employees, officers and disclosure categories in <br />Resolution 092012-A which now needs to be revised and the Board of Directors determines the attached <br />exhibits accurately set forth those updated positions which should be designated and categories of financial <br />interest which should be made reportable. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Conejo Recreation and Park District resolves as follows: <br />Board of Directors Resolution 092012-A is hereby rescinded and superseded by this Resolution, along <br />with the attached exhibits in which officials and employees are designated and disclosure categories <br />are set forth. <br />2. The Board of Directors hereby incorporates the standard model Conflict of Interest Code (FPPC <br />Regulation sec. 18730) as the District's Conflict of Interest Code. <br />3. Persons holding designated positions in Exhibit A shall file Form 700 Statements of Economic Interests <br />with the Filing Officer specified for that position in Exhibit A. <br />Approved this 17th day of July, 2014. <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ATTEST: <br />Aline Reynders, Executive Assistant <br />Joe Gibson, Chair <br />
