Annual Elections to Goebel Senior Center Commission - Majority Vote <br />Seerden instructed the Commissioners to vote for up to six candidates. <br />The votes were cast, the ballots collected. Blum and Coleman left the room <br />with the ballots to tally the votes. <br />The meeting continued with Item 5-E. <br />E. Statement of Economic Interests State Form 700 <br />The Economic Interests State Form 700 was collected from those <br />Commissioners that had not already turned it in. <br />Blum and Coleman returned to the meeting. Blum announced the results of <br />the election: Del Basilio, Steven Bonthius, Eric Herem, Mary Martinich and <br />Steve Smith were elected to three-year terms; Vernon "Bob" Grundstrom <br />was elected to the two-year term. <br />F. Approval of Lobby TV Purchase (Replacement of Small TV) <br />Hamm reported that as requested by the Commission at the February <br />meeting, staff has researched and identified a 60" Sharp-AQUOS LED <br />1080p-120Hz-HDTV from Best Buy at the price of $799.99 as being the best <br />price for the product. The wall mount for this TV monitor is $199.99. The <br />total, $999.98 plus $75 tax is $1,074.98. <br />It was moved by Smith and seconded by Blum approve the <br />Commission purchase of a 60" Sharp-AQUOS LED 1080p-120Hz-HDTV <br />television with wall bracket for a total price of $1074.98 for use in the <br />Goebel Center lobby. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />6.
