Coleman stated that a $10,000 contribution from <br />each of the senior groups would help support CSVP until strong fundraising <br />practices are in place. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Seerden advocated that the Budget and Finance Committee meet to <br />consider a donation to the CSVP program and bring back their <br />recommendation at the April Commission meeting. <br />B. Nominations, Vote, and Swearing-in — Office of Vice President <br />Seerden nominated Maxine Cleary for vice president, noting that she had <br />volunteered to serve. And, as there were no other nominations from the <br />floor, ballots were cast. Seerden announced Cleary was unanimously <br />elected. <br />Coleman administered the oath of office of Vice President to Cleary. <br />C. Nominating Review Committee - Candidate Recommendations <br />Seerden distributed the Nominating Review Committee's candidate review <br />results. He noted that the committee, Blum (chair), Bengtson, and Colilles- <br />Fuentes, interviewed each of the ten applicants and rated the candidates <br />based on their responses to the same set of questions. President Seerden <br />and CRPD Vice Chair Jones were also present during the interviews as <br />observers. He said based on the interview process, the committee divided <br />the candidates into three groups; highly qualified, qualified, and also applied. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the candidates and their qualifications. <br />Blum noted the committee was very much in agreement on the rating scores <br />of the candidates from the compiled information obtained from the interview <br />process. <br />
