Conejo Recreation and Park District's <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) <br />For <br />Preparation of a Park Impact Fee Nexus Study, <br />Quimby Ordinance Review and Related <br />Consulting Services <br />The Conejo Recreation and Park District ("District") is issuing this Request for <br />Proposals for professional services related to: <br />1. the preparation of a Park Impact Fee Nexus Study ("Nexus Study") for <br />justification of a potential new park impact fee on new residential, <br />commercial and industrial development within the District; and <br />2. a review of the District's existing park dedication (aka "Quimby") fee <br />formula, including a comparative study of the Quimby ordinance (and <br />application thereof) in communities similar to Thousand Oaks with an <br />emphasis on the application of the Quimby ordinance in a mixed-use <br />zoning environment. <br />The District is seeking proposals from qualified parties interested in performing <br />the requested services. Prepare and provide a Nexus Study report that establishes the legal and <br />policy basis for the imposition of park impact fees on new residential, <br />commercial and industrial development within the District. The report shall <br />document the nexus study results, including, but not limited to, a <br />description of the overall methodology and approach, key findings, <br />supporting justification, detailed park and recreational facility cost <br />
