Authorizing Signers for the Ventura County Treasurer Pool Lewanda reported this item was originally brought to the Board at the July 7th meeting. In response to the Board's request, some minor clarifications have been made, and the current resolution is submitted to the Board for approval. It was moved by Jones, seconded by Lange and carried 4-0 to adopt Resolution 072116-A authorizing specific staff to order the deposit or withdrawal of funds in the Ventura County Treasurer Pool, that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. 10. Conejo Community Center is offering a movie night at the McCrea Ranch on Saturday, August 6th at 8:15 pm. There will be a Blood Drive at Hillcrest Center on Monday, August 1"t. New art will be going up in the hallway at Hillcrest Center July 29th. The Great Conejo Campout at Dos Vientos Center is taking place August a and 7th. The Aquatics Spin/Sprint/Splash will be held on Saturday, August 20"` at 9:00 am and an End -of -Summer Luau will be celebrated at the Goebel Center on August 27th at 5:00 pm. Callis read an email from Marleen Canniff with the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging regarding the Senior Nutrition Program. "Congratulations and thank you for all your hard work serving the seniors in the community and for developing a good model for other potential vendors to follow." The program was budgeted to serve 10,000 meal; 13,000 were served. Through donations from participants, over $20,000 was raised, which covered the cost of an extra 3,000 meals. C.
