July 21, 2016 <br />Page 6 <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported since the last Board meeting staff has contacted those neighbors <br />concerned about Banyan Park. The issue will continue to be addressed; residents <br />have expressed their appreciation for the District's dealing with the challenges inherent <br />with the current drought. Friedl announced election papers may now be filed with the <br />County. The final date for filing is Friday, August 12th at 5:00 pm. There is no need for <br />an executive closed session this evening. <br />E. Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Jones had two meetings with the neighbors concerned about Banyan Park. Lange, Holt <br />and Jones attended the Triunfo Ball last Saturday. Lange attended an SMMC meeting <br />this past Monday. He also met recently with Ed Begley at the Chumash Indian <br />Museum; Begley was given a tour of the museum and is assisting in attempts to make <br />the museum more energy efficient.
