Minutes 2-25-15 <br />Page 4 <br />Cleary summarized the preparations for the February 27, inaugural monthly <br />Nighttime Bingo Program including food and facility arrangements. Colilles- <br />Fuentes, in response to Cleary, received clarification the advertising dates <br />for the event. <br />Cleary, in response to Fineroff, acknowledged that the March Bingo <br />volunteer sign-up sheet was being circulated at the meeting. <br />H. Programs Committee <br />Smith said the committee met February 3. Toyen, in response to Smith <br />reported details of the February 15" History Comes Alive program <br />featuring Fred Stone and noted an attendance of 45 patrons at the event. <br />Smith further reported on upcoming events including the Friendly Feud, <br />the next Goebel Game Day show scheduled March 24. <br />Bengtson reported that the History Comes Alive speaker scheduled for <br />May is no longer available and she is working to schedule an alternate <br />speaker. <br />Colilles-Fuentes reported the ad hoc Senior Garden Committee met <br />February 16, and outlined the steps that will be followed to proceed with <br />the project. She noted the first step will be to obtain start-up grant funding <br />from the Conejo Valley Rotary Club. <br />Publicity Committee <br />Coli Iles- Fuentes shared information on the current publicity methods being <br />implemented for current Commission programs and events. <br />J. Bus Trips <br />Martinich confirmed a Bus Trip meeting is scheduled March 9. <br />7. Staff Reports <br />A. Center Business Update <br />1. Library Lighting: <br />Hamm reported the City conducted a walk-through for facility <br />improvements at which time staff requested lightening for the <br />library/book cabinets. <br />
