Approval Of The 1998 Conejo Valley Days Agreement
Sorensen stated that the 1998 agreement identifies a fee increase from
$10,000 to not less than $11,000, plus four percent of the net proceeds of the
event.
It was moved by Berger, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to extend the
terms of the 1997 agreement through 1998, with a fee increase from
$10,000 to not less than $11,000, plus four percent of the net proceeds
of the Conejo Valley Days' event.
C. Adoption Of Board Of Directors' Proposed 1998 Meeting Schedule
Ward referenced the documentation, and noted that the proposed schedule
includes August meetings. He said that the issue of an August hiatus has
been raised and should, therefore, be discussed.
Holt suggested that consideration be given to eliminating only the August 20
meeting. In response to Lange's inquiry, Ward said that it is easier to cancel
a meeting than schedule one. Accordingly, Lange suggested that August
meetings be scheduled and the issue reconsidered at a later time.
It was moved by Lange, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0, to accept
the Board of Directors' proposed 1998 meeting schedule as submitted.
9.
