Minutes 1-23-97 <br />Page 2 <br />Jacobsen explained that all District parks are developed <br />through a process of public hearings that facilitate public <br />input. <br />Sorensen said that, preliminarily, all District properties <br />are under consideration, but after Board adoption of site <br />criteria, staff will determine the most appropriate locations. <br />Pamela Barlow presented statement cards that were picked up <br />and circulated prior to the meeting; 26 were returned, all in <br />support of a leash free dog park. Cards on file at the <br />District office. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carried <br />unanimously, to approve the agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of January 9, 1997 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - E, Total $321,044.25 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried <br />unanimously, to approve the Consent Calendar as <br />presented. <br />7. Authorization To Provide Additional Services To Mountains <br />Recreation And Conservation Authority (MRCA) <br />Jorgensen summarized that District staff currently <br />provides financial and payroll processing services to <br />MRCA, and recent discussions have been held, relative to <br />providing Human Resources services.
