Analysis Of November Ballot Measures - League Of <br />California Cities And California Journal - No Comment <br />ll� DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Sorensen reported that the homeowners association <br />adjacent to Michael Park has identified five conditions <br />under which it can support the site's use as a Christmas <br />tree sales lot, and staff believes that an agreement will <br />be reached. <br />Concluding, he said that a letter from Ridgeview Estates <br />Homeowners Association was received stating its <br />opposition to the "Bark Park" at Triunfo Park. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />In response to Berger's inquiry, Jorgensen said that the <br />District's presence is now on the Internet and he <br />referenced a press release announcement. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Washington highlighted upcoming events including the <br />numerous Halloween activities, plus a three --day Red <br />Ribbon Carnival, a Holiday House Crafts Festival, and a <br />Kids Swap Meet. <br />In response to Gillette's inquiry, Washington said that <br />there is no scheduling conflict between the craft <br />festival and the Historical Society's craft show. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward said that, relative to the Hill Canyon project, a <br />joint meeting with the City Council is being considered <br />for November 12 for the presentation of various <br />preliminary information, including that on the land use <br />
