Minutes 10-17-96 <br />Page 6 <br />plan. He reviewed the recent actions of the COSCA <br />(Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency) Board germane to <br />Two Winds, and he indicated that the Board's intent is <br />not to dislocate the equestrian facility, but to identify <br />a permanent location. He referenced a handout of <br />material relative to the "Bark Park" issue. <br />Concluding, he summarized that the nomination process for <br />LAFCO representative will begin October 21, the recent <br />CARPD conference was informative, and Proposition 217 <br />could have a positive financial impact on the District. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange urged support of Proposition A and said that it <br />would benefit MRCA and Ventura County. He said that the <br />CARPD conference was beneficial. <br />Gillette said that he will represent the Board at the <br />Veterans Day ceremony at Conejo Creek North on November <br />11, he will attend the LAFCO and VCSD (Ventura County <br />Special Districts) meetings, and he invited input and <br />direction. <br />12.
