He said that the additional cost to the District will be approximately $13,000 to cover the cost of the additional part-time receptionist that will be needed, $11,000 will be received from MRCA, and the Action Grant of RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) is expected to cover the balance, when those funds become available. In response to Board inquiries, staff said that the employee responsible for the task will be working within her job description, and the payroll processing change should facilitate timely financial data, including a budget performance report. Lange said that MRCA could benefit from this information, and he stated his support of the recommendation. Berger noted the benefits for both organizations, and he stated his support of the recommendation.
