Park Division Report
Sorensen reported that: much community feedback, both
positive and negative, has been received on the bark park
concept, which was conceptually approved as a Capital
Improvement Project by the Board on August 8; the Triunfo
Park area homeowners association, representing 600 homes,
will take a position on the issue; and other options, as
yet unannounced, are being explored by staff.
In response to Holt's inquiry, Sorensen said that staff
has requested that the association's position be based
on feedback garnered through a ballot to be sent to all
homeowners, staff has confidence in the homeowners
association, and the homeowners association appears to
be taking a balanced approach to the issue.
