Budget Performance Report - January And February, 1996 <br />No Comment <br />D. District Special Events Through April, 1996 No Comment <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />No report. <br />In response to Gillette's inquiry, Ward and Washington <br />said that there was general agreement that attendance at <br />Conejo Valley Days Kick -Off Picnic was less than <br />expected. <br />In response to Holt's inquiry, Ward said that Sorensen <br />met with Wendy Variot, a public speaker at the last Board <br />meeting, and addressed her concerns. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Washington saia tnat walk-in registration will begin <br />March 25, and he highlighted activities and camps for <br />Spring break, including the Eggstravaganza on March 30 <br />at Conejo Creek Park. He noted a very successful inter- <br />generational pool tournament involving teens and seniors, <br />and said that staff would endeavor to continue to provide <br />creative and non-traditional activities. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />Jorgensen said that the District's presence on the <br />internet is expected to begin in April, and the <br />information is currently being checked for accuracy. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Jorgensen said that <br />the useability of maps, pictures, and photos for the <br />internet is being discussed, and he cited the advantages <br />of a narrative format. Holt concurred. <br />
