Public Hearing Fiscal Year 1998-1999 Budget <br />Lange declared the public hearing open. <br />As no one was in attendance who wished to address the Board, the public <br />hearing was continued to the next regular meeting. <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Adoption Of Resolution Number 052198-A A Resolution Requesting <br />Consolidation Of District Election With Statewide General Election <br />Ward explained that, in order to consolidate the election, it is necessary to <br />adopt a resolution. <br />It was moved by Gillette, and seconded by Holt to adopt Resolution <br />Number 052198-A, requesting consolidation of the District election <br />with the statewide general election, that it be read in title only and all <br />other readings be waived. <br />In response to Holt's inquiry, Ward explained the policy governing <br />candidates' statements. <br />The motion carried 4-0. <br />B. Adoption Of Resolution Number 052198-13, A Resolution Setting <br />Facility Fees And Charges For The District <br />Washington reviewed the proposed changes and said that an annual <br />review of fees was conducted, the proposed fee schedule would become <br />effective July 1, 1998, no fee change is requested for Conejo Creek North, <br />and the proposal includes increasing the non-refundable filing fee from <br />$6.00 to $10.00. <br />In response to Holt's inquiry, Washington explained that the $11 per hour <br />hourly rate listed for recreation leaders and custodial personnel is an <br />average figure. <br />
