DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Approval Of Use Of Mobile Stage By The City Of Agoura Hills <br />Washington reviewed the past use of the stage by the City of Agoura Hills, <br />referenced the documentation, and noted the presence of Dale Sumersilie, <br />Recreation Supervisor for Agoura Hills. <br />In response to Gillette's inquiry, Washington said that the stage is <br />maintained in good condition and is used 12 to 14 times a year. <br />It was moved by Gillette, and seconded by Holt, to authorize staff to <br />issue a rental use permit to the City of Agoura Hills City Community <br />Services Department for use of the mobile stage on June 21, July 26, <br />August 9, and August 23, 1998, at Chumash Park for the City of <br />Agoura Hills Summer Concert Series. <br />In response to Lange's inquiries, Washington said that a stage replacement <br />would be very expensive, and there is no current funding available for such <br />a replacement. Sumersille said that CRPD is acknowledged verbally at the <br />concerts . <br />Gillette noted that the stage is 28 years old, Washington said that the price <br />of a new stage would be between $75,000 and $95,000, and Jacobsen said <br />that, as long as the stage is useable, he is pleased to see the District's <br />limited resources used for more urgent needs. <br />
