Authorization To Award Bid For Rehabilitation Of McCrea Estate Home <br />To Classic Roofing In Amount Of $239,804 <br />Sorensen provided background information, and stated that on October 19 <br />the Board rejected the bid from J. Evans in the amount of $278,000 for the <br />rehabilitation of the McCrea estate home; subsequently, the project was <br />rebid; Classic Roofing submitted the low bid of $239,804; staff believes the <br />bid is competitive, within the context of the specialty of historic structures and <br />a booming construction economy; although the site is in zone 3, park <br />dedication fees from a variety of zones will be used to fund the project, since <br />the site is a community facility; he stated staff recommendation and said it is <br />expected that the project will be completed prior to the rainy season. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Sc <br />Thousand Oaks is the subcontractor, <br />historic building construction. <br />ensen said that K.
