Adoption of Resolution Number 062200-C, Notice Of Public Hearing
Considering Assessments For LIVID 92-1 — Rancho Conejo Playfield
Berger announced that this is the time and place fixed for the public hearing
relative to the levy of annual assessments for costs of maintenance of
improvements for Landscape Maintenance District No. 92-1 (Rancho Conejo
Playfield). Ohren said that the notice was given in the manner and form as
required by law.
Sorensen reviewed past relevant details, including completion of legal
requirements, costs, site components, and authorization of assessments.
He discussed Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the Dos Vientos Neighborhood Park, and
said that the adjusted maximum rate for a single-family residence is $64.38
and $43.14 for multi family units, which is in compliance with Government
Code Section 53750, making an additional election and notification
unnecessary. He said that the increased levy reflects the annual cost for
additional improvements for all of Phase 2 and 50% of the cost of Phase 3;
the first six months' cost for Phase 3 will be subsidized by the District through
revenue from a GTE easement; and at mid -year, population numbers will
mandate construction of Phase 3, and the assessment levy.
Sorensen said that the Engineer's Report was included in the documentation,
no protests have been received, and he noted the presence of Amy Roblyer
of Willdan Associates.
As no one was in attendance who wished to address the Board, Berger
declared the Public Hearing closed.
