June 8, 2000
Page 2
5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
It was moved by Holt seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to approve the
agenda as presented.
6. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. Minutes of May 18 Meeting
B. Warrants, Exhibits A -D, Total $415,454.45.
It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Jacobson, and carried 5-0 to
approve the Consent Calendar as presented.
7. DEFERRED MATTERS
A. Public Hearing - Fiscal Year 2000-2001 Budget
Berger declared the Public Hearing open. As no one was in attendance
who wished to address the Board, the public hearing was continued to
the next regular meeting.
8. NEW ITEMS
A. Approval to Continue Public Hearings for LMD 92-1 [Rancho Conejo]
from June 8 to June 22.
Sorensen referenced the Board meeting of May 18 where June 8 was
set for the date of the Public Hearing for the assessment levies for the
Dos Vientos Ranch and Rancho Conejo Playfield. It was the intent to
fund fees for Phase III of Rancho Conejo Playfield from funds that were
set aside from a GTE easement, because Phase Ili was being done ahead
of the population demands within the Assessment District. There may be
enough population to levy the assessment for Phases II and III, and that
and administrative detail issues are the reasons for the continuance of
the Public Hearing. If the Board approves the continuance of both public
hearings, a notice will appear in the newspaper setting the date for June
22 as the time for the Board to consider levy of assessments.
It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jacobson, and carried 5-0, to
continue Public Hearings for LMD 92-1 from June 8 to June 22.
