Consideration Of Action To Cast Ballot On Behalf Of District For <br />Alternate Member To Ventura Local Agency Formation Commission <br />(LAFCO) <br />Ward referenced the submitted correspondence, noted that four candidates <br />have been nominated, and identified Director Gibson as the District's <br />nominee. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to cast a <br />ballot on behalf of the District for Director Gibson as Alternate Member <br />to Ventura Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) and <br />authorize the chair to certify the action of the Board. <br />D. Authorization To Participate In Dialogue With City Of Thousand Oaks <br />Regarding Location Of Community Swimming Pool Facility At District <br />Site <br />Ward summarized the issues, and the Board concurred that it would be <br />advisable for staff to participate in initial discussions with the City of <br />Thousand Oaks. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0 to <br />authorize the General Manager to participate in a dialogue with the <br />City of Thousand Oaks regarding the possibility of locating a <br />community swimming pool facility at a District park site. <br />9.
