Park Division Report <br />Sorensen reported that initial discussions with Ventura County have been <br />conducted relative to the potential transfer of 50 acres in Santa Rosa <br />Valley; Ventu Park Park Advisory Council has expressed a desire to fund <br />new play equipment at Stagecoach Inn Park; the Director of the <br />Stagecoach Inn Museum has expressed concerns about the site's <br />inadequate parking facilities should this occur; and resolutions for <br />assessment districts for Dos Vientos and Rancho Conejo LMDs <br />(Landscape Maintenance Districts) will be presented to the Board on May 4 <br />and a Public Hearing is scheduled for June 8. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton reported that the April 15 Eggstravaganza was very successful and <br />well attended. She complimented staff, and said it was estimated that <br />approximately 4,000 participants attended. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />Jorgensen reported that staff has begun discussions with new website <br />design consultants. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that Conejo Valley Unified School District's proposal to <br />locate educational facilities near Janss Road has implications for the <br />Conejo Creek South facility, the School District has agreed to again <br />participate in the Outreach Program, there are issues still pending in the <br />matter of the Tucker Land Company v Mountains Recreation and <br />Conservation Authority et al., and a meeting has been scheduled with a <br />consultant relative to a possible assessment district ballot issue. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />In response to Holt's inquiry, Ward said that the Conejo Valley Days Parade <br />is scheduled for May 6. <br />
