April 6, 2000 <br />Page 2 <br />Lange stated his support for the focus group concept, Holt stated the importance <br />of an informed community, and Jacobsen urged community wide representation <br />on the focus group. <br />In response to Board inquiries, Sorensen said that, although the majority of the <br />focus group members would be from the Oakbrook Park neighborhood, there <br />would be community wide representation to foster a broad perspective, it is <br />envisioned that the focus group would have twelve members all representing <br />different viewpoints, the process would be about one-third as long as that for <br />Conejo Creek Park, and the goal would be to build consensus. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 4-0, to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of March 23, 2000 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - D, Total $258,389.74 <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Jacobsen, and carried 4-0, to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Approval Of Request For Use Of Mobile Stage By City Of Moorpark <br />Benton referenced the request, and identified the date requested. <br />Berger noted the presence of Debra Ryono, representing Moorpark <br />Centennial Committee. <br />
