February 11, 1999 <br />Page 2 <br />Sharon Noel, focus group member, said she agreed with previous speakers and <br />requested that the community garden be located by the gate, thus lessening the <br />impact on the park. <br />Marilee Ullmann, stated her appreciation for the planned development of the <br />Conejo Creek site and for the work of the focus group. She expressed concern <br />over the disappearance of open space and community equestrian facilities, cited <br />examples, and requested that the needs of the equestrian community be <br />remembered. <br />Holt noted that although the Conejo Creek Master Plan has been approved, input <br />is still welcome. <br />Don Jacobs spoke in support of the community garden, and said that there is a <br />need in the community for such a facility, and he respects the rights of other park <br />users. <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Holt suggested that, in order to accommodate representatives of Pacific Bell <br />Mobile Wireless Services, Item 8.G. be moved to precede Item 8.13. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Gibson, and carried 5-0, to approve <br />the agenda as recommended; that is, to move Item S.G. to precede 8. B. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Minutes of January 21, 1999 Meeting <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - F, Total $300,267.05 <br />It was moved by Berger and seconded by Lange to approve the <br />Consent Calendar. (Motion withdrawn.) <br />Gibson stated that page 9 of the minutes incorrectly identified him as the <br />director who moved to authorize staff to enter into discussions with <br />neighbors of Las Flores North for the purpose of developing an MOU <br />(Memorandum of Understanding) for future Board consideration; and that, <br />in fact, it was Berger. <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0, to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as recommended; that is, page 9 of the <br />January 21, 1999 minutes be corrected to reflect that it was Berger <br />who moved to authorize staff to enter into discussions with neighbors <br />of Las Flores North for the purpose of developing an MOU <br />(Memorandum of Understanding) for future Board consideration. <br />
