Adoption of Resolution Number 100401-A, A Resolution Approving <br />The Applicant To Apply For Grant Funds For The Roberti-Z'Berg-Harris <br />Urban Open Space And Recreation Program Under The Safe <br />Neighborhood Parks, Clean Water, Clean Air, And Coastal Protection <br />Bond Act Of 2000 <br />Sorensen provided background information relative to the Roberti-Z'Berg- <br />Harris (RZH) Need -Basis Grant Program, referenced the recent Board <br />adoption of a resolution authorizing application for the rehabilitation of the <br />play area at Conejo Community Park, and stated that staff now seeks Board <br />adoption of a resolution for an additional application relating to this grant that <br />focuses on the first phase of development at Northwood Park. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carred 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution Number 100401-A for the RZH Need -Basis Grant, authorizing <br />the District to apply for funding available through the Robertii-Z'Berg- <br />Harrs Urban Open Space and Recreation Grant Program; that it be read <br />in title only and all other readings be waived. <br />B. Authorization To Award Contract To Premier Paving Inc., Of Ontario In <br />Amount Of $94,780 And A 10 Percent Contingency Amount Of $9,478 <br />For Upper Parking Lot Reconstruction At Conejo Community Center <br />Sorensen reviewed the bid process. He stated that the low bidder was <br />Premier Paving, Inc. of Ontario, in the amount of $94,780; the firm has <br />provided excellent service in the past; the project was previously budgeted <br />
