Authorization To Purchase Replacement Tables And Chairs For Three Community Centers And New Tables And Chairs For Dos Vientos Community Center For $95,555.45 Scott said that funds were allocated for the replacement of 25 -year old tables and chairs for three community centers, and the purchased of new tables and chairs for Dos Vientos Community Center. Holt noted that the items were included in the budget, and the purchase price was under budget. In response to Board inquiries, Scott said that many prefer mobile tables, which are easy to move and set up, the old tables and chairs are being donated to schools and organizations, and a report identifying the recipients wi I I be prepared. It was moved by Lange, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to authorize the purchase of replacement tables and chairs for three community centers (Thousand Oaks, Conejo and Borchard) and new tables and chairs for Dos Vientos Community Center; total expenditure $95,555.45. B. Authorization To Grant Easement Deed, Temporary Access, And Construction Easement At Wildflower Playfields To Calleguas Municipal Water District Referencing a map, Sorensen stated that Calleguas Municipal Water District has an existing easement at Wildflower Playfields and has requested an additional 90 -day Easement Deed to allow for construction modifications in the western portion of the site, which is passive and not developed; and a small cabinet will be temporary erected near Velarde Drive and Avenue de Los Arboles and will not visually impact the site because of a wall and landscaping. It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carred 5-0 to authorize staff to enter into an agreement with Calleguas Municipal Water District granting an Easement Deed and Temporary Access and Construction Easement not to exceed 90 days for the purpose of installing a cathodic protection rectifier system within an aboveground vault to be constructed; work anticipated to commence in May 2003.
