Authorization To Purchase Replacement Tables And Chairs For Three <br />Community Centers And New Tables And Chairs For Dos Vientos <br />Community Center For $95,555.45 <br />Scott said that funds were allocated for the replacement of 25 -year old tables <br />and chairs for three community centers, and the purchased of new tables and <br />chairs for Dos Vientos Community Center. <br />Holt noted that the items were included in the budget, and the purchase price <br />was under budget. <br />In response to Board inquiries, Scott said that many prefer mobile tables, <br />which are easy to move and set up, the old tables and chairs are being <br />donated to schools and organizations, and a report identifying the recipients <br />wi I I be prepared. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize the purchase of replacement tables and chairs for three <br />community centers (Thousand Oaks, Conejo and Borchard) and new <br />tables and chairs for Dos Vientos Community Center; total expenditure <br />$95,555.45. <br />B. Authorization To Grant Easement Deed, Temporary Access, And <br />Construction Easement At Wildflower Playfields To Calleguas Municipal <br />Water District <br />Referencing a map, Sorensen stated that Calleguas Municipal Water District <br />has an existing easement at Wildflower Playfields and has requested an <br />additional 90 -day Easement Deed to allow for construction modifications in <br />the western portion of the site, which is passive and not developed; and a <br />small cabinet will be temporary erected near Velarde Drive and Avenue de <br />Los Arboles and will not visually impact the site because of a wall and <br />landscaping. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carred 5-0 to authorize <br />staff to enter into an agreement with Calleguas Municipal Water District <br />granting an Easement Deed and Temporary Access and Construction <br />Easement not to exceed 90 days for the purpose of installing a cathodic <br />protection rectifier system within an aboveground vault to be <br />constructed; work anticipated to commence in May 2003. <br />
