Recreation Division Report Scott highlighted upcoming events including the 18th Annual Silver Starlight Ball presented by the Therapeutic Recreation Unit on December 8 at the Los Robles Banquet Center, and the Goebel Senior Adult Center Annual Holiday Party on December 9. Scott said that the winter pre -season basketball league begins December 2 at Thousand Oaks and Borchard Community Centers, league play begins January 6, and at least 36 teams are expected to participate. Concluding, she said that the Teen Center recently hosted two events, the November 14 Middle School Spirit Night, at which Colina Middle School was the overall winner, and the November 16 7th and a Grade Harvest Dance, which had approximately 1,000 teens in attendance.
