General Manager's Report <br />Ward highlighted the latest legislative analyst report regarding California's <br />projected budget shortfall for the next fiscal year, and its possible negative <br />impact on special districts. <br />Sorensen reported that, prior to the transfer of any property within its <br />jurisdiction, the Thousand Oaks Planning Commission must vote on its <br />conformance to the General Plan; and approval of the Oakbrook Regional <br />Park transfer is expected on November 25. <br />In response to Gibson's inquiry, Ward said that the complete inventory of <br />District agreements and identification of those requiring Board approval is not <br />yet complete. Gibson said that for planning purposes a listing of those that <br />require recurring Board approval would be helpful. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Lange said that Jim Acosta was elected to the Board of California Association <br />of Special Districts, and expressed confidence in his ability to competently <br />represent Region V. <br />12.
