Adoption Of Resolution Number 112102-A, Authorizing The Nomination <br />Of A Board Member For Alternate Commissioner Of The Ventura Local <br />Agency Formation Commission <br />Ward reported that the LAFCO Executive Officer provided revised <br />information relative to the selection of the Independent Special District <br />Member; the upcoming election is for the alternate member seat; further, <br />Lange advised him that business commitments will preclude him from <br />accepting the Board's nomination of November 7; and the Board may <br />nominate another director or take no action. <br />In response to Gibson's inquiry, Lange said that at least two special districts <br />are nominating competent individuals for the alternate seat.
