Authorization To Obtain Preliminary Title Report And Expend Staff Time Relative To Potential Acquisition Of Parcel Adjacent To Conejo Creek Southwest Referencing the Conejo Creek Southwest Quadrant Master Plan and a parcel map, Sorensen identified and discussed parcel features and location, and presented a brief overview of past relevant events. He said that Conejo Creek Southwest, east of Paige Lane, is bordered by two contiguous 7 112 — acre parcels paralleling Combes Road, the property is being offered for sale as one .61 -acre lot for $175,000; a portion of the parcel is a steep grade, the 40 feet parcel could be considered a possible site for a parking lot; currently there are no funds available for site acquisition, and staff is exploring funding options; and a preliminary title report would cost less than $1,000 and would reveal any unknowns, including any possible liens and easements. It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried 4-0 to authorize staff to obtain a preliminary title report and continue to expend staff time related to the potential acquisition of the property. B. Consideration Of Proposed Board Of Directors' 2003 Meeting Schedule Ward referenced the documentation and stated that the schedule reflects modifications necessary to avoid conflicts with other meetings and conferences, the proposed schedule reflects only one meeting in both April and August, the single meeting in April is the only anomaly from past schedules, the COSCA dates are tentative, and the schedule can be modified at anytime as necessary.
