He said that Peter Heumann of CORBA (Concerned Off -Rode Bicyclists <br />Association) was present and available to answer questions. <br />Gibson commended COSTAC (Conejo Open Space Trails Advisory Council) for its <br />support of trail education. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Sorensen said that it has been at least five years <br />since such an incident has been reported to him. Lange expressed appreciation for <br />the work of CORBA. <br />Fred Osterloh, a property owner adjacent to Conejo Creek Park, expressed <br />concern that the buffer area surrounding the fields is not sufficient and should be <br />extended to the south. He asked if there are plans to enhance the buffer zone to <br />protect nearby homes. <br />Jacobsen referred the issue to staff, and said that the landscaping effort at the site <br />has not been completed. Ward said that staff would be pleased to look into the <br />matter and discuss the issue with neighbors. <br />5.
