Adoption Of Resolution Number 052302-A, Requesting Consolidation <br />Of November 5, 2002 Election <br />Ward explained that the proposed resolution requests consolidation of the <br />election and affirms the District's long standing position with respect to <br />candidate statements; specifically, that each candidate, not the District, is <br />responsible for the cost of his/her candidate statement. <br />It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt, and carred 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution Number 052302-A requesting consolidation of the District <br />election with the statewide general election; that it be read in title only <br />and all further readings be waived. <br />C. Adoption Of Resolution Number 052302-13, Approving The Preliminary <br />Engineer's Report, And Adoption Of Resolution Of Intention 052302-D <br />Setting The Date, Time, And Place For The Public Hearing For LIVID 92-1 <br />(Rancho Conejo Playfield) <br />Sorensen said that this is the annual consideration of the adoption of the <br />Preliminary Engineer's Report for LMD92-1, and this assessment, as well as <br />that for LMD 94-1, is only for maintenance expenditures. <br />Lange noted that the assessment represents a reduction from the prior year. <br />Sorensen said that a reevaluation of allocation expenditures is under way, <br />and, based on that evaluation, the assessment may adjust upwardly in the <br />final Engineer's Report, and a public notification will be published. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carred 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution Number 052302-B approving the Preliminary Engineer's <br />Report; that it be read in title only and all further readings be waived. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carred 4-0 to adopt <br />Resolution of Intention 052302-D setting the date, time and place for the <br />Public Hearing for LIVID 92-1; that it be read in title only and all further <br />readings be waived. <br />
