Minutes of April 11, 2002 Meeting <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded" by Lange, and carried 4-0, with <br />Gibson abstaining, to approve the Minutes of April 11, 2002 as <br />presented. <br />B. Warrants, Exhibits A - C, Total $353,934.14 <br />It was moved by Gibson, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0, to approve <br />the Warrants, Exhibits A - C, Total $353,934.14 as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Authorization To Execute Conejo Valley Days Agreement For 2002 And <br />Accept 2002 Conejo Valley Days Permit Conditions <br />Sorensen reported on discussions between District staff and Conejo Valley <br />Activities Corporation (CVAC). He said that in 2001 the agreement was for <br />$12,000 plus four percent of net profits; subsequent to the 2001 event, CVAC <br />set aside $20,000 as a future contribution to capital development of Conejo <br />Creek South; the set aside will be cumulative, and require agreement of both <br />parties prior to release of funds for future site improvements; the 2002 <br />agreement terms are proposed to be the same as 2001, $12,000 plus four <br />percent of net; and the 2002 Permit Conditions are the same as last years. <br />In response to Board inquiries, Sorensen said that CVAC is not using the <br />stage this year, and the future use of the northwest quadrant for spillover <br />parking is a possibility. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to authorize <br />staff to execute the CVD Agreement for 2002 and accept 2002 CVD <br />Permit Conditions. <br />
