DEFERRED MATTERS <br />None <br />8. NEW ITEMS <br />A. Approval Of Use Of Mobile Stage By City Of Agoura Hills For June IS, <br />July 6, 20, August 3, 17; And Authorization To Issue Rental Use Permit <br />To Community Services Department <br />Scott stated that the City of Agoura Hills is again requesting use of the <br />mobile stage for its outdoor concert series, this has been an annual request <br />since 1993, and the concerts are scheduled for Sundays, June 15, July 6 <br />and 20, and August 3 and 17, 2003. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiries, Scott said that the rental fee and <br />related staff costs would be approximately $900 per event, and the new <br />stage is housed at Borchard Park. <br />Jacobsen requested that a list of the concerts and artists be made <br />available. <br />A representative of the City of Agoura Hills extended an invitation to <br />everyone, and thanked the District for its support. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Berger, and carried 5-0 to approve <br />the use of the mobile stage at Chumash Park by City of Agoura Hills <br />for the Summer Concert Series on June 15, July 6 and 20, August 3 <br />and 17, 2003, and authorize staff to issue a rental use permit to the <br />Community Services Department. <br />
