August 5, 2004 <br />Page 3 <br />joint use agreement. <br />In response to Lange's and Jacobsen's inquiries Steve Allen, resident of <br />Thousand Oaks and representative of Hillcrest Christian School, indicated <br />that the continued field uselacxess is anticipated in future years. Jacobsen <br />indicated that next year a longer term joint use agreement may be prudent to <br />save staff hours. <br />It was moved by Berger, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to <br />authorize staff to execute the submitted Joint Use Agreement with <br />Hillcrest Christian for the 2004-2003 fiscal year. <br />9. Park Division Report <br />Friedl reported that the first public scoping meeting on the draft of the Lang <br />Ranch Master Plan is tentatively scheduled for August 31, 2004; AYSO is <br />scheduled to take the fields at Conejo Creek South on August 23, 2004; <br />energizing of the lights for Conejo Creek South will occur during the week of <br />August 16 through 20 and involves coordinating Edison and Pima <br />Corporation; the access trail from Paige Lane to Janss Road is currently <br />being worked on and it is planned to open as early as August 7; the <br />implementation of Dog Park lighting is pending a City of Thousand Oaks <br />public hearing date; the Conejo Creek Equestrian Center announcer's stand <br />has been painted by the Thousand Oaks Cross Country Team.
